I was looking at the Pear tries in the backyard of my new home and found soap bar attached to all the tries! Any one knows why?

Ammaro, good idea but it does not work this way

you got it..
It took me some asking around to figure it out. It looks like the previous owner had a problem with deers eating the tries. In Anchorage it was the moose eating the tries and a bar of soap will do nothing.
